High School

We believe that all FCA students have a God ordained purpose. In our high school department we work to aid students in identifying their God-given strengths, build Godly character, and develop a firm biblical foundation so they are better able to reach those purposes. We understand that this will include a variety of successful post graduate plans. We work hand in hand with students and their families to equip them for whatever career, collegiate, or trade trajectory they feel called to.

Academically, all FCA students leave campus equipped to successfully navigate university studies. All curriculum implemented is highly researched, maintains a Christian worldview, meets and/or exceeds the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and meets all requirements of the Texas Education Agency’s Recommended Graduation Plan. We offer honors courses and dual credit opportunities through area community colleges.

Our unique campus design allows FCA high school students to tailor a portion of their transcript around interest-based studies and activities both on and off campus. This allows for career exploration opportunities, practical application of skills, and personal growth.

Seniors at Faith Christian Academy are honored in numerous ways during their final year on campus. From the graduation ring ceremony to Warrior Senior Send Off dinner to their walk down the aisle on graduation night, a 12th grade year at FCA is a one of a kind experience.

All secondary students attend a daily Biblical study course and a weekly corporate chapel service. Practical biblical application, as well as head-to-heart connections, are key components of their everyday bible study. As a self proclaimed “greenhouse”, our desire is to raise up confident ambassadors for Christ who have been equipped to defend their faith and serve their neighbor. The FCA secondary teaching staff are highly trained Christ followers who love what they do and the students they teach.

In addition to core academics, students in the secondary education department participate in a variety of electives and extracurricular activities. In an effort to educate the WHOLE student, we offer many opportunities for students to get real life, hands-on, practical life skills…and have fun while they're doing it!

Some of these activities include family and consumer science (sewing, cooking, personal finance), 4H, tennis, archery, yearbook staff, physical education, gardening, robotics/coding, foreign languages, public speaking, field trips, academic competitions, service opportunities, Girls of Faith, art history, woodworking, and welding.
